Quite often, my older sister and I swap books or recommend books to each other. A while back, she had asked for a list of YA books to read, of which I sent her tons. But on that list, was two series that I have read and liked: The House of Night and The Mortal Instrument series.
Well, when my sister came to visit this weekend, she had finished the first book in each series, liked them, and had requested the next books. And, in the two days she was by me, she finished #2 in The House of Night series and had started #3.
I was excited because I could discuss the books with her, but also that someone else I knew had liked the books too. How about you? Do you have a series to recommend?

I love both series you listed as well. I also love the Vamire Academy Series. I also started reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series since the movie is coming out. That is a great one too!
