Today I had the greatest compliment ever.

After my morning storytime session, a mom told me that this weekend, her little girl has been pretending to be ME! Me, a librarian- not a movie star, not a Disney character, but a librarian. This little girl would grab a chair and a book, and then say my opening fingerplay (Hands Go Up,

Hands Go Down) before she started reading the book. How cute is that!

I laughed so hard even as I was blushing because I couldn't believe that this little girl was playing 'librarian.' I don't know about you, but I spy a future librarian!
